Understand the broad difference before discussing Botox, Dysport or filler with a clinician at Beautifully New.
“Injectables” covers treatments that work in different ways. Beautifully New lists Botox and Dysport as well as dermal filler services. Seeing both on a menu does not mean that you need both, or that every injector offers every treatment.
What each treatment is intended to do
Botulinum toxin treatments temporarily reduce activity in selected muscles. In cosmetic care, they can soften certain lines associated with facial movement. Dermal fillers instead place material beneath the skin to change volume or contour in specific areas. Product approvals, suitable treatment areas and expected duration differ.
A useful consultation question is: what is causing the feature I want to discuss, and why does this proposed treatment address it? Ask the clinician to describe what the treatment is unlikely to change as well as what it may improve.
Discuss risks by product and treatment area
Both categories require a clinical assessment and a discussion of risks. Botulinum toxin treatment can cause bruising and other side effects, including unwanted weakness near a treated area. Your clinician should review the relevant product information and your medical history.
Fillers can cause swelling, bruising and infection. Accidental injection into a blood vessel can cause serious injury, including tissue damage, blindness or stroke. Ask who handles complications and how to reach the clinical team after the appointment. Do not assume that filler can always be easily or completely removed.
Turn the comparison into a specific conversation
Bring one or two goals to the visit rather than a shopping list of products. Ask for the product name, proposed treatment area, alternatives, total estimated cost and follow-up plan. If photographs help describe your goal, use them as a starting point for discussion, not a promised result.
For Samantha Schiffman, the public Park Ridge scheduler lists Botox or Dysport and lip filler appointments. Confirm the current service, location and clinician when booking. A directory listing is not a personal recommendation or a determination that a treatment is appropriate for you.

The directory does not provide medical advice or establish a provider-patient relationship. The practice confirms availability, suitability and pricing.
